This edition of the Net LGBTQIA+ Barometer questions lifestyles, online dating, sexuality, prevention and health of people of sexual or gender diversity. It seeks to assess the impact of COVID-19 on these dimensions.

Our study questions the uses of the Internet, sexuality and the prevention of people of sexual or gender diversity. The 2021-22 version of the questionnaire is the sixth edition of the barometer, repeated every five years and carried in France and Quebec since 2004. The present edition that we propose to complete today is the first adapted for Belgium: the Net LGBTQIA+ Barometer #BE 2022-23.
The barometer was initially designed to capture the realities of men who have sex with men, since this is a population very affected by HIV and other STI. However, other populations from sexual and gender diversity are also impacted by these issues and experience other relatively common social and health problems. Consequently, since 2018, we have been inviting anyone of sexual and gender diversity* to complete our study.
This edition takes between 20 and 60 minutes to complete depending on your life course and the experiences you report over the past 12 months . We are counting on your participation in this research, as it consists of a feedback on oneself through one's social and emotional life, one's health, and one's sexuality, while seeking to measure the impact of COVID-19 in our communities.

*We are aware that many relational or gender figures are not offered. For example, this survey only partially addresses sexuality between cis women, intersex or asexual people. We had to opt for a binary inclusive language, which makes it more difficult for non-binary or intersex people to properly express their realities. Given the scarcity of data regarding the health of people of sexual and gender diversity, we hope that the current edition will still provide relevant data on their lives and health.
